Seafood from the Genkai and Ariake Seas
Seafood from the Genkai and Ariake Seas
The Genkai sea, where the Japan Current mixes with the Tsushima Current, is known as one of the most prominent fishing areas in the world. Ariake Sea, the home of many unique sea creatures, is the largest tideland in Japan. We procure fresh ingredients from these two completely different environments daily.

Saga beef
Saga beef
Saga beef, the pride of Saga Prefecture, is so tender that it melts in your mouth. We procure this beef from local Japan Agricultural Cooperatives. Only meat from Japanese Black cattle that has passed the strictest standards is allowed to be sold as this top class beef.

Wakakusu pork
Wakakusu pork
Our local brand of pork, with a soft texture and a color that resembles cherry blossoms, is the result of a combination of thorough breeding management and careful rearing in the Takeo countryside. We buy our pork from local Japan Agricultural Cooperatives.

Local vegetables from the Saga Plain

Vegetables grown in Kyushu's fertile Saga Plain, which has a warm and moderate climate, are full of vitamins and minerals. We buy fresh produce in season from local sources.

Saga rice
Saga is proud of its history as the birthplace of Japanese agriculture. The local soil provides fertile ground for growing Saga's deliciously sticky rice.
